The arrested students were from New York College football players. The police arrested the students after a teammate Danroy `DJ’ Henry was critically injured with a bullet in by a police officer. The charges that were placed on them have been scraped off.

The four students were arrested after the staged protests that were organized by the four Pace University students. The protests were against the fatal shooting of one of their own, Henry a 20 years student from Easton Mass. The student was killed while in a bar in Thornwood, New York.
One of the four students, Joseph Romanick from Slidell, La, was accused of felony and criminal mischief. The other three were accused of obstruction as well as disorderly conduct. They included Joseph Garcia from Floral park in New York; Danielle Parker from Lauderhill, Fla. and Yves Delpeche from Brooklyn in New York.
There was a grand jury established to determine whether the officer who fired the shot that killed the student had a case to answer but it found the officer with no adequate ground to indict the officer. Amid rising urge from the students for the officer to be indicted, the jury holds its ground that the officer has no case to answer.
The dead student was driving away to escape a disturbance out side a bar in New York when his car hit a police officer who shot at him through the windshield.
